Romantic Relationships in Yomi Alliance

Greetings fellow space travelers!

Today I'm going to talk to you about the romance options in Yomi Alliance and the different story paths linked to them.

As you're undoubtedly aware there are four different squad mates you can interact with, and their Relationship Level is shown in the main interface of the game. To increase or decrease that bar you just need to pick up the right choices when presented to you and also increase one specific stat (their "favourite" stat). As long as the romantic relation goes further you can flirt with them, kiss them and even have sex with them as you would in real life.



Of course those interactions are still work in progress, and right now you can only unlock a couple of them, but in time more and more content will be added, included romance-specific side stories to explore and enjoy.

With a brand new voice-over feature that will be introduced before the end of the year (keep following the updates for more excitement about it) I'm sure you'll enjoy the available romance paths in the game.

But the 4 squad mates won't be your only chance to get romantically involved, as three teachers are also going to be available as romantic interests. They won't have a "favourite stat" but they will require their romance options to be unlocked by attending their classes and get a good standing with them, again, with your choices and dialogue options.



The game will feature M/F, M/M, F/F relationships and even genderless ones for Briallen characters.

Male characters will be able to bond with: Mivak, Serena, Aberoin, Lt. Kaila, Sulijan

Female characters will be able to bond with: Sulijan, Aberoin, Lt. Mivak, Dr. Li

Genderless Briallen characters will be able to bond with: Aberoin, Lt. Kaila, Dr. Li, Mivak, Serena

As you can see each NPC has its own gender preference as in real life. Serena for example isn't attracted by women, while Mivak has no issue with any gender or species and neither does Aberoin. Sulijan isn't attracted by Briallen and so on.

Each romance will develop its own path, so next time you start a new playthrough in Yomi Alliance you can experiment a brand new path and many new situations in game.



I hope you'll enjoy the romantic choices available and always remember that you can befriend a character not available as a romance partner: many conversations will unlock regardless, since you'll be friends.
