English Text Improvements - Because Quality is Everything!


Greetings fellow space officers!

Today I'm going to talk to you about quality. My games are made by many different piece of art, from the soundtrack to the graphic interface our amazing designer Sasquatchii made, to the quality of voice acting which will be introduced before the end of the year throughout the game (keep following the news about the game for some major news about it in the next few weeks).

One of the most asked improvements of the game is about the quality of dialogues and English grammar and spelling. While my English is quite good, it's not perfect at all. I understand that and while many people are OK with it and enjoy the game whatsoever, I wanted to do a bigger step forward regarding that part of the game as well.



That's why I'm announcing you I recently hired an English native speaker proofreader, who will fix the errors and issues I made in the game to improve the game's readability and quality.

The game is already about 60.000 words long and it's just a three months old game, so you can expect it to become bigger and bigger in the future. That, including the game's replayability will contribute to make Yomi Alliance a product unlike anything else.

You can expect to find the updated, fixed texts starting from 0.0.11 next month, then each update will be proofread before its release. This won't impact the game's release schedule at all.



I'm also adding more animated scenes throughout the game, as during conversations with the main characters of Paris Squad. Serena will get the first animated dialogue in the game and the others will follow. Even idle characters will receive their animations in time, even though this will require a lot of effort due to the currently available equipment to render animations in FULL-HD.
